Stop, and smell the FLOWERS!

TechniqueLO

In my personal albums, I am used to scrapbooking for two boys.  No need for flowers!  But, here at Creative Memories, I have the ability to create and use all these wonderful flower embellishments.  So, I just couldn’t stop at the video showing you how to create these beautiful flowers with your Corner Maker.  I took it a step further to show you how you can incorporate them into your layouts!  The flowers are also a great touch to just about any card sentiment you are sending out–birthdays, thinking about you, sympathy, anniversary, etc. So, I am going to continue to “smell” the flowers on many projects to come! DSC_0272

Ever run out of title ideas for your scrapbook pages? I often get scrapper’s block when trying to think of a title for a scrapbooking layout that I’m working on. The good news is that with the Achievements Embellishments and the word art sheet that’s included in the Achievements Paper Pack, you’ll have lots of title ideas for your graduation scrapbook pages. They would also be great as titles for your Achievements Fast2Fab album pages. To illustrate, I’ve created two sets of title borders using the word art sheet from the Achievements paper pack and titles from the Achievements Embellishments. For even more ideas, I’ve added a few hand printed titles. You’ll also find title ideas for your graduation scrapbook pages on Creative Memories Scrapbooking Page Title Ideas board on Pinterest. My youngest granddaughter loves paper crafts. She’s been creating handmade gifts and cards with scrapbooking materials since she was old enough to use a pair of scissors. I think she would approve of the handmade and altered art teacher gift ideas I’m sharing with you today. All you’ll need to complete the teacher gifts I created Creative Memories scrapbooking products, a few dollar store or grocery store items, and a few items you probably already have in your home. I used scrapbooking papers, stickers and embellishments from A Year to Remember collection.  I love the way it complements the end of the school year theme of today’s post.
