I always have my Creative Memories goodies all packed and ready to go with me. Currently, I am spending my days in our RV out of town while my hubby works. I love the versatility of Creative Memories products, everything you need to make amazing layouts and cards are at your fingertips. I do have a well stocked craft studio in my home but I don’t like hauling all my goodies with me. Everything I need to create can be found with Creative Memories products!
I don’t know about you, but I love to make and send cards to loved ones to hopefully brighten their day. I do not have a stash of cards here in the RV so I decided to make this set of four note cards just to have on hand.
I can not even put into words how much I adore the Mix & Match Paper Packs and the Mix & Match Embellishments! I used the Neutral and Cranberry Mix & Match Paper Packs along with the Forever Yours Embellishments, Neutral Mix & Match Embellishments, Cranberry Mix & Match Embellishments and the Evergreen Mix & Match Embellishments.
Card One, I used the pattern paper from the Cranberry Mix & Match Paper Pack. I trimmed the paper using the 12″ Straight Trimmer or you can use the Personal Trimmer to 4″ x 5″. I then cut the 4″ side down approximately 1 1/2″. Using the Tape Runner, I adhered to the card leaving a border all around. Next I turned the paper over and adhered the opposite side to the bottom half of the card base. I like to leave a small space between the papers, the white space breaks up the space. For the flower embellishment, I used the largest flower and the white pearl from the Forever Yours Embellishment pack, the medium striped flower from the Cranberry Mix & Match Embellishment Pack and the small gray flower from the Neutral Mix & Match Embellishment Pack. The banner is made from a scrap from the Mix & Match Neutral Paper Pack.
Cards two and three, I used the same measurements as card one but used the Neutral Mix & Match Paper Pack. The flower on card three, I used a flower from the Evergreen Mix & Match Embellishment pack to make a couple of leaves for the larger flower as shown below.
Each flower embellishment I made, I “fluffed” them up a bit to give them more dimension. All flower embellishments were adhered using foam squares. The banners were all made with scrap paper either from the paper packs or cardstock. I used the multi purpose tool to curl up the ends of the banner. I love the added addition of the jewels to complete the look of the flowers.
The possibilities are endless with all the Mix & Match colors we have! What will you create?
Remember creativity is contagious…pass it on!

Really pretty and so very creative!! Pun intended …
I need to get some card-making done. These are wonderful ideas. How do you go about mailing these layered cards? Do you make special envelopes for them?
I have no issue putting these cards in the envelopes that come with the card based. No extra postage is needed either.
Great card ideas!!!
Who would not love to get one of those cards? They are just beautiful!
Nice card!
they are lovely and I love making my own cards. People like getting home made a lot.
