On the 12th Day of Cropping, Creative Memories gave to me an idea using twelve photographs…
Fitting 12 photos on a page can be tricky, but not when using digital products! So easy to resize your photos to fit all 12 photos on the page nicely. I have used Sugarplum Digital Kit to complete this page.
I have layered many papers on this page and with digital this doesn’t add any weight to your page or album. Also, I resized the 12 x 12 papers, but just shrinking them so there was no cutting or measuring involved.
I resized the borders by making them smaller and was careful not to change the aspect ratio which means the images in the border are not distorted.
I have also resized the tag and gem to fit nicely under the layers of papers and photos and just slightly peek out from the edge of the papers.
Adding a light or heavy shadow to the photos and embellishments always adds dimension to your page!
Resizing and layering is one of the huge benefits of digital scrapbooking!

I don’t use digital but LOVE this layout! What are the size of the pics? 2×2? I can certainly see doing something similar with the traditional way of scrapping but am not sure of the dimensions. Thank you for this wonderful idea. And thanks to all those who created the various layouts for these 12 days … I’ve really enjoyed them and learned a lot.

Beth, this is just gorgeous! I’m about to do my 2017 album in digital and would like your recommendation as to the best way to “train” myself…I have Forever’s Artisan software but all CM digital kits.
I’m thinking of going digital and I’m going to try Forevers free trial. Do you print your pages from home or do you have Forever Artisan? Do you use CM’s albums for your printed pages?

I have the old Storybook and Memory Manager software on an old computer, along with hundreds of dollars worth of kits. Would you know if Forever souls he able to give me the codes to transfer my stuff to my newer computer if I purchased their software? I used to love digital scrapbooking with CM, but don’t want to lose all the kits I purchased. My old computer is in its last leg.
