Bee Mine Valentine Scrapbook Layout

Bee-Mine-Valentine-Scrapbook-Layout-Creative-Memories

Valentine’s Day is coming and Creative Memories has the cutest collection to document those lovey dovey or not so lovey dovey moments! Have you seen the Bee Mine collection? Oh, my goodness, it is the cutest collection ever and I am so excited I got to play with it. I really like the tiny print patterns on a few of the papers so I selected a few of those sheets for my layout. And the stickers and layered embellishments are gorgeous! A girl can never have too many embellishments. Those frames were calling my name the moment I saw them! I couldn’t wait to use them. Can you hear the excitement in my words? Seriously, I love it.

To complete this 12×12 layout, you will need:

I used White Cardstock for the base of my layout. Then I cut the heart patterned down to 10 1/2″ x 11″ and adhered it about 1/4″ from the far right side of the layout. I cut the XOXO patterned paper down to 7″ x 11″ and adhered it about 1/4″ from the left edge of the heart patterned paper as shown.

Then I used the Teardrop Lattice Decorative Border Punch to punch to borders from the blue and yellow patterned papers. I adhered the blue border slightly behind the left-side of the heart patterned paper. Then I used the Precision Point Adhesive Pen to adhere the yellow border as shown.

Once the borders were in place, I printed two photo collage strips and matted them with the multi-diamond patterned and red patterned paper and adhered them as shown.

Then I grabbed the stickers and layered embellishments to help pull the photo collage together nicely. I used the foam squares to pop a few of the stickers off of the page a bit.

I tucked the “Forever & Ever” banner sticker slightly behind the “Bee Mine” sticker then used a tiny Foam Square to pop the edge of the banner up to prevent the layout from looking too flat. Also, I backed the “Forever” frame with patterned paper to fill in the negative space.

  1. I like the idea of printing the collage – gives it that photo booth touch and puts six photos on the page without any crowding. Great idea – thank you.
