Hi everyone. I am back with another layout featuring the Bee Mine collection. For those of you who do not know me, I LOVE patterned paper. Often at times, I have a difficult time throwing my scraps away for this reason. For this layout, I decided to play with all of the patterns in the Bee Mine collection.
To complete this 12×12 scrapbook layout, you will need:
- Bee Mine Paper Pack
- Bee Mine Stickers
- Bee Mine Layered Embellishments
- 12-inch Straight Trimmer
- Foam Squares
- Tape Runner
- All-Purpose Scissors
- Teardrop Lattice Border Punch
- Goldenrod Solid 12×12 Cardstock
To begin, I cut a variety of 3″ x 3″ squares from each sheet of paper in this adorable collection.
Once my squares were all cut, I adhered them across the top of the layout in two layers as shown.
Then I cut 3 4″ x 6″ rectangles from my scraps to create a nice mat for my photo and then adhered them to the layout.
I adhered the photo to the mat.
I used my scraps to create a Teardrop Lattice Border and tucked it slightly behind the photo on the left-side. Then I added a few more stickers at the bottom right-side of the photo.
Using a 12-inch Straight Trimmer, I cut two strips for the bottom of the layout. The pink strip is 1/4″ and the blue is about a 1/2″ cut semi diagonally to create a triangle.
I adhered the strips at the bottom of the layout using a Tape Runner then I added the Bee sticker border. I LOVE the little bees. :)
Once everything was adhered to the base, I used a Black Dual-Tip Pen to hand-journal my story below the photo using a ruler.
What do you think? I really like the Goldenrod Cardstock, it makes this layout look so happy!
Thanks for visiting today! I hope you have a fabulous day!
Very cheerful! A great way to use your favorite scraps!
