Hello! I am having a hard time with the fact that Edward is now 8 years old! Those eight years have flown! Just a few moments ago, I was just sitting here thinking about the things I love about him… and then I jotted them down on paper so I would not forget them! He is such a good kid with a lot of good qualities. I just love him.
For this 10 things scrapbooking layout, I decided to use the gorgeous Full Bloom collection. I love the gorgeous colors and patterns in this collection. It’s so very different and pretty… and the stickers are even prettier in person.
To create this 12×12 scrapbooking layout, you will need:
- Full Bloom Designer Paper Pack
- Full Bloom Designer Stickers
- Full Bloom Embellishments
- Embossed Trio Flower Punch
- 12-inch Straight Trimmer
- Tape Runner
- Foam Squares
- Black Dual-Tip Pen
To begin this layout, I used the pink floral paper for the base. I cut the blue patterned paper down to 10″x 12″ and adhered it about 1/4″ from the far right-side of the base. Then I cut a 12″x 1″ strip using the 12-inch Straight Trimmer from the green patterned to adhere to the left side of the base to create a fun border. To add more color and dimension, I added the border stickers as shown. Then I tore the green patterned paper in half to create another layer of color and adhered it to the right side of the border stickers.
I cut 7″x 5″ and 6″x 4″ photo mat from the green floral paper to use a photo mat for the photo. Then I adhered the photo to the center of the mat and tucked the “splendor” and “you’re stuck with me” stickers as shown. I used a scrap piece of the green paper with a torn edge to hand-journal my top 10 list using a Black Dual-Tip Pen.
Once I was satisfied with the placement of the photos and journaling, I added a few die cut flowers, layering them with Foam Squares.
I used the Embossed Trio Flower Punch to create a smaller flower to add to the two die cut flowers.
To complete the layout, I added a few more stickers at the bottom.
What do you think of the Full Bloom collection? I am already thinking about another project to use with these gorgeous patterns!
Thank you for visiting today!
