Be Merry with this Season’s Greetings Christmas Scrapbook Layout

It might only be October, but with the new Season’s Greetings collection, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! These festive holiday scrapbook materials provide an original take on traditional Christmas themes and you’ll love it for making stunning Christmas scrapbook layouts that make your treasured holiday memories shine like never before. In today’s post, learn how to make a Season’s Greetings two-page spread!

To create this two-page layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use two sheets of the green patterned paper for your base.

Step 2: Using the 12-inch Straight Trimmer, cut two pieces of the star patterned paper to measure 12″ x 11″. Then, adhere one inch from the top of the base (horizontally) on both pages. Next, cut two pieces of the holly patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1/4″ and adhere them below the star pieces on both pages. Lastly, cut two pieces of the red patterned paper to measure 12″ x 9-1/2″ and adhere them below the holly strips on both pages.

Step 3: Select four 4″ x 6″ mats and adhere them 1-3/4″ from the top of the red pieces to the far-right side of page one and the far-left side of page two so they all line up against one another. Cut the blue-and-white star patterned journaling mat in half and adhere it to the left side of the green mat.

Step 4: Select two die cut frames and mat two 4″ x 6″ photos behind the frames. Use your All-Purpose Scissors to trim the edges since the frames are smaller than 4″ x 6″. Adhere the one matted photo on page one in the center of the green mat. Adhere a 4″ x 6″ photo to the blue mat on page two leaving a 1/2″ border at the top of the photo. Next, cut the cream star patterned paper to measure 4″ x 2″ and gently tear the bottom horizontally and adhere it below the photo on page two. Adhere the second matted photo next to the photo on page two to line up across the bottom of the photo mat.

Step 5: Select the star laser cut border and cut two pieces from the strip to measure 4” x 1/2”. Use your Repositionable Adhesive to adhere them to the framed photos at the bottom of the photo as shown.

Step 6: Adhere stickers and embellishments as shown using a few Foam Squares to add dimension. Journal as desired on the journaling mat using a Black Dual-Tip Pen.
