To create this two-page layout, you will need:

instructions

Step 1: Use a piece of cardstock or a 12×12 Plain Refill Page as the base for your layout.

Step 2: Cut the holly patterned paper in half so you have two halves measuring 12″ x 6″.  Adhere these pieces to the top of the base on both pages.

Step 3: Cut the cream snow patterned paper in half so you have two halves measuring 12″ x 6″. Adhere these pieces to the bottom of the base on both pages.

Step 4: Using the Rectangle Patterns with the Custom Cutting System, select the smallest rectangle and use the Red Blade (blade on the outside of the rectangle) and cut your 4″ x 6″ photos. Mount photos onto the Season’s Greetings mats. Then, adhere both mats onto the first page (left side of the two-page spread) approximately 2″ from the top of the base toward the far left side of the page. Adhere the second matted photo next to the first, tucking it slightly behind the first photo using your Tape Runner. Using the same rectangle, Red Blade outside the rectangle, cut the “Let It Snow” mat into a rectangle and then mat it to a 4″ x 6″ mat to create a snowflake border. Adhere 2″ from the top at the far left side of the second page. Adhere a smaller mat next to the mat. Then, mat a 4″ x 6″ photo onto the snowflake mat and mount it to the smaller mat, leaving 1/4″ of the bottom of the mat peeking below.

Step 5: Using the Original Border Maker System and the Rolling Hills Border Maker Cartridge, cut two borders from the green houndstooth patterned paper. Adhere both pieces to the very bottom of both spreads.

Step 6: Use the Repositionable Adhesive to adhere the holly laser cut borders onto the rolling hills border as shown. Then, use the Repositionable Adhesive to adhere the snowflake laser cut border to the second spread below the mats.

Step 7: Embellish your two-page spread by adding stickers, bows using the Embossed Bow Punch, embellishments and laser cut border embellishments. Make sure to use Foam Squares on some of the die cuts for added dimension.

Step 8: Journal your story as desired with a Black Dual-Tip Pen on page two below the mats.

With the Season’s Greetings collection and this holiday scrapbook layout idea, you can get yourself ready for December like never before! What’s your favorite part of the Season’s Greetings collection? Let us know in the comments below!
