Bring Your Outdoor Scrapbook Layouts to Life with the Rustic Manor Paper Pack

Despite how comfortable it is to settle into routine, it’s always worth it to take some time to unplug and explore the world around you. To create this layout, you will need:

• Rustic Manor Paper Pack Paper Pack
• Royal Blue Solid 12×12 Cardstock
• Brown Serif ABC/123 Stickers
• Original Border Maker System with the Double Chevron Border Maker Cartridge and Arrow Border Maker Cartridge
• 12-inch Straight Trimmer
• All-Purpose Scissors
• Tape Runner with Repositionable Adhesive
• Foam Squares
• Black Dual-Tip Pen

Step 1: Use the light beige woodgrain patterned paper as your base.

Step 2: This layout uses the marquetry technique to highlight the texture and variety found in the Rustic Manor Paper Pack designs. Choose five papers, varying in texture and colors, that work with your photos. Cut two 12″ long strips of each, ranging in width from 1/2″ to 1″. Apply Repositionable Adhesive to the backs and mount side by side on a piece of 12″ x 12″ cardstock (any color), alternating papers and being careful to line up the seams completely. Your finished sheet should look something like this (image shown to the left).

Step 3: Using the Double Chevron Border Maker Cartridge, punch two borders, making sure you’re punching along an edge with strips of all the papers. Trim both borders to measure 1-1/4″ wide.

Step 4: Using the Arrow Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border with Royal Blue Cardstock. Trim to measure 2-1/4″ wide. Mount one double chevron border underneath the arrows and then mount on top of a 12″ x 2-1/2″ strip of orange patterned paper. Adhere this border to the base of your layout.

Step 5: Mount the other double chevron border on a 12″ x 1-1/4″ strip of Royal Blue Cardstock and then on a 12″ x 1-1/2″ strip of orange patterned paper. Adhere this border to the top of your layout.

Step 6: Mat three 4″ x 6″ photos with 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ pieces of Royal Blue Cardstock. Mount one of them again on a 4-5/8″ x 6-5/8″ piece of orange patterned paper. Adhere as shown to the middle of the layout.

Step 7: Punch a couple of arrows out of mossy green patterned paper. Adhere to the layout as shown with Foam Squares.

Step 7: Cut a 4″ x 2-1/2″ triangle from mossy green patterned paper. Apply to the middle photo. Add a title with ABC/123 stickers and journal as desired.
