A great way to live life? To live it like it’s an adventure. Adventures don’t always mean expeditions throughout the outback — an adventure can be a trip to the grocery store, birdwatching in the backyard or anything else that gets you to take a look at the world around you. When it comes to illustrating these adventures, the best way to do so is with the Walkabout collection. It’s exactly what you need to add something extra into the ordinary and make it extraordinary. Want an example? Check out this adventure scrapbook layout made using Walkabout!

Step 1: Use the green patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a 1-1/2″ x 12″ strip of floral patterned paper. Adhere 1/4″ in from the left edge. Cut a 1-1/4″ x 12″ strip of peach patterned paper. Mount it next to the floral strip. Cut a 1-1/2″ x 12″ strip of orange dot patterned paper and mount 1/4″ to the left of the peach strip.
Step 3: Using the inside of the smallest circle Custom Cutting System pattern and the Green Blade, cut 13 circles from the peach patterned paper. Adhere them to the back side of the “Outback” laser cut border so that the peach shows through the letters. Apply the “Outback” laser cut border down the middle of the border. Mount the sign laser cut border just to the right of the peach strip, as shown.
Step 4: Cut a 5/8″ x 12″ strip of peach patterned paper and adhere 1/4″ in from the right edge. Cut a 1/4″ x 12″ strip of orange dot patterned paper and mount along the right side of the peach strip.
Step 5: Create a photo mat by cutting a 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of floral patterned paper. Add a 6″ x 4″ photo and mount it to the lower middle of the layout. Add a 4″ x 4″ photo above it.
Step 6: Using the outside of the smallest circle Custom Cutting System pattern and the Blue Blade, cut a circle with wavy blue patterned paper.
Step 7: Arrange the smallest circle Custom Cutting System pattern on the cityscape mat piece. Using the outside of the pattern, cut out a circle, first with the Blue Blade, then (without moving the pattern) the Green Blade and finally with the Red Blade. Remove the small circle piece in the middle. Adhere the city scape mat circle pieces on top of the blue circle piece as shown. Trim off the bottom and adhere to the bottom right edge of the layout and journal as desired.
