Step 1: Use cardstock or a piece of patterned paper as your base (you can use any pattern you would like since this paper will be covered up after the layout is complete).
Step 2: Using your 12-inch Trimmer, cut twelve 1″ x 12″ strips from seven different patterned papers of choice. Adhere strips, side-by-side vertically, across the base of the layout.
Step 3: Adhere two 6″ x 4″ photos to your chosen decorative mats. Cut a strip of paper from the word patterned paper to measure 4″ x 1/4″ and adhere it across the top of the green mat, tucking it slightly behind the photo. Adhere the pink patterned mat approximately 1″ from the top of the layout and 1-1/2″ from the far right side of the layout. Adhere the green mat below the pink mat, moving it 1-1/2″ to the left.
Step 4: Cut the triangle images from the mat shown above and adhere them below the green mat.
Step 5: Cut a 2-1/2″ x 1/2″ strip from the word patterned paper. Use your All-Purpose Scissors to cut a “v” at the left side of the strip and adhere it to the photo at the bottom on the far bottom right side of the photo.
Step 6: Adhere stickers as shown. Add dimension to your layout by adhering a few stickers onto a scrap piece of paper and trim the image using your All-Purpose Scissors. Mount stickers to the layout as shown using Foam Squares.
This floral scrapbook layout is sure to keep your photos and memories looking fresh for years to come! Have you gotten your Flourish products yet? If so, what have you been able to create with them?
Lovely layout! You make it look so easy :-) I would never come up with an idea like that!
Thank you for your creativity and for sharing.
Great layout – and a light just came on when you said to use any patterned paper for the base because it will be completely covered up. This would be a great way to use up the lonely stragglers that are left after using up most of a pack of paper, or the patterns that are just not ‘your thing’. thanks!
Love this layout! An aha moment for me on how it also captures the beauty of most of the paper pack! So I will probably use a similar layout for many of the paper packs I love.
