Step 1: Use the cream mountain scene patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a 5-3/4″ x 12″ piece of green plaid patterned paper and adhere it vertically to the base, about 1″ in from the right edge.
Step 3: Cut a 4″ x 12″ strip of brown wood patterned paper and adhere it horizontally to the base, over the green plaid paper, about 1/4″ down from the top edge. With the Wave Blade, cut a 3-1/2″ x 12″ strip of blue patterned paper and adhere it to the brown piece. With the Straight Blade, cut a 2-3/4″ x 12″ strip of red patterned paper and layer it over the blue strip. Finally, with the Wave Blade, cut a 2-1/2″ x 12″ strip of varied border patterned paper, making sure to use the fishing rods, lures and waves section. Adhere this piece on top of the red strip.
Step 4: Punch five banner flags using scraps of brown, blue, red and green patterned papers. Tuck under the brown strip on the left side of the layout as shown.
Step 5: Cut a 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ square of blue patterned paper, a 3″ x 4″ piece of plaid patterned paper and a 2-1/4″ x 3″ piece of cream pattered paper. Tuck behind the green plaid piece and layer at an angle as shown. Add the fishing rod, “Keep Exploring” and “Adventure” stickers, popping the latter up with Foam Squares.
Step 6: Mat two 5″ x 3-1/2″ photos with 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ pieces of red patterned paper and adhere to the green plaid piece. Journal as desired.

I have a question
What did you use to cut the 4 different waves above the bottom red border paper?
(Under the rods and fish)
They used the wave blade with the fabulous rotary trimmer .
Connie, the waves you’re talking about are actually printed on the paper.
In the portion explaining what you neeed to make this layout, it states the mountain border maker cartridge but I could not see where it was used in the instructions nor could I identify where it was used in the picture of the layout. Did I miss something!
I too, do not see the usage of the mountain border punch. Please explain, thanks.
Where is the Mountain Punch used?
