Oh, Happy Day Border
Step 1: Cut a 3-1/2″ x 12″ strip of green patterned paper. Punch both long sides with the Scallop Border Punch to create your base. Cut a 3″ x 12″ strip of chevron patterned paper and add to the base so just the edges of the scallops show from behind.
Step 2: Punch a border using the Tulips Border Punch with navy patterned paper. Trim to measure 2-1/2″ x 12″ and add to the middle of the border. Cut a 5/8″ x 12″ strip of tiny floral patterned paper and adhere to the navy piece, about 1/8″ from the straight edge.
Step 3: Using the Rose Chain Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border with pink patterned paper. Adhere to the border just above the tiny floral strip.
Step 4: Apply the “Oh Happy Day” sticker to White Cardstock and trim out. Adhere to the border as shown. Add butterfly stickers as desired.
To make the journal box: Use the mat shown above. Place a 4-3/4″ wide strip of tulips along the bottom of the white edge. Add a 5″ strip of roses. Add stickers to the corner as desired.
Happy Place Border
Step 1: Cut a 3-1/2″ x 12″ strip of striped patterned paper for the base.
Step 2: Punch a border using the Tulips Border Punch with green patterned paper and trim to measure 2″ x 12″. Mount near the top of the border. Punch another tulips border with blue patterned paper and trim to measure 2-5/8″ x 12″. Mount underneath the green border, with the straight edge 1/4″ above the lower edge of the base.
Step 3: Punch a final tulips border with pink patterned paper and trim to measure 2″ x 12″. Apply Foam Squares and mount on top of the blue border, 1/8″ above the lower edge. Cut a 1/2″ x 12″ strip of white word patterned paper and mount on the pink border as shown.
Step 4: Add the “Another Day in Paradise” sticker to the words strip as shown. Mount the “Happy Place” embellishment above it and add dragonfly stickers.
