Combine Digital Collections to Make an Awesome Golf Digital Scrapbook Layout

One of the benefits of creating digital scrapbook layouts is the fact that you can seamlessly combine elements from different collections and use them all on one page. This allows you all sorts of creative freedom and flexibility, which does wonders for the pages that you create. Want an example of how you can seamlessly blend digital collections together? Check out this spring digital scrapbook layout created by blog contributor Beth!

Beth’s Inspiration:

A sure sign of spring in our house is when the local golf course opens. Both our boys play golf and this is our youngest son, Grant, who joined the course for the first time as a junior. He loves the game and loves to dress the part as well! The Simply Sunshine and Explorer collections have beautiful shades of green that work wonderfully with golf photos and complement each other so well.

To create this digital layout, you will need:

Layering embellishments is one of my go-to techniques in digital because it doesn’t add any bulk to your pages. Below, I have used two borders, one from Explorer and one from Simply Sunshine.

I also used arrows from both the Simply Sunshine and Explorer Digital Kits, resized and layered them with a title bar. The pop of red arrows on the page coordinate with the pop of red golf pants.

Add a large photo to the page and blend one edge into the background paper (from the Digital Explorer Kit) to create a unique background.

Combining collections is a fantastic way to create a unique page layout! I loved how this golf digital scrapbook layout turned out and it got me thinking — what different digital collections have you combined? Let me know in the comments below! Happy creating!

  1. Are we able to do digital and print the page to be put in a traditional album, and if so what program do you use to do your creating? This page you did is beautifully done, thank you for sharing

  2. Rhonda most likely she uses Artisan. You can buy Artisan through Forever and print your digital pages through them. I’m an Ambassador with Forever as well as an Advisor. 3. I have also taken digital layouts and recreated them in the traditional fashion in my paper scrapbook layouts. Although not entirely like the original it does have my spin on it. Thanks for sharing.
