Turn City Dreams into Reality with these City Scrapbook Borders

How many of you have dreams of living that big city life? There’s just something about the larger-than-life skyscrapers, the hustle and bustle of the streets and the feeling of being amongst the masses. There are definitely plenty of memories to be made in the city and the layouts you create for them need urban flair to match. Check out these ideas for city scrapbook borders you can make with the Cityscape Border Punch – it’s sure to add an exciting energy to all your layouts!

My Vacation Travel Log Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of Black Cardstock to measure 12″ x 2-1/4″.

Step 2: Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to measure 12″ x 2″. Adhere to the Black Cardstock.

Step 3: Punch a 12″ border from Black Cardstock using the Cityscape Border Punch. Cut to measure 1-1/2″ tall and adhere to the border.

Step 4: Using the Border Maker System with the Star Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from Platinum Shimmer Cardstock. Use the punched-out stars to adhere to the border.

Step 5: Using the Custom Cutting System, cut a circle from the Black Cardstock using the inside of the large circle with the Red Blade.

Step 6: Using the Custom Cutting System, cut a circle from the white paper using the inside of the large circle with the Green Blade. Adhere so half the circle hangs down from the border.

Step 7: Adhere stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Adventure Travel Log Border

Step 1: Cut a piece from Peacock Cardstock to measure 3-1/8″ x 12″.

Step 2: Cut a piece from Beige Cardstock to measure 3″ x 11-7/8″. Adhere this piece to the Peacock Cardstock.

Step 3: Cut five pieces from Black Cardstock to measure 3″ x 2″.

Step 4: Cut four pieces from the green patterned paper to measure 3″ x 1/2″.

Step 5: Cut five pieces from Crimson Cardstock to measure 3″ x 1/4″.

Step 6: Using the Cityscape Border Punch, punch two 12″ borders from the white stamped patterned paper. Cut the borders into 3″ sections and adhere them to the Black Cardstock pieces.

Step 7: Adhere the Crimson Cardstock pieces along the bottom edge of the white paper. Adhere to the Beige Cardstock, placing a green strip in between each Black Cardstock piece.

Step 8: Cut a piece of Black Cardstock to measure 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″. Cut points on each end.

Step 9: Cut a piece of Crimson Cardstock to measure 4-3/4″ x 1″. Cut points on each end. Layer it behind the Peacock Cardstock.

Step 10: Adhere stickers to the border with Foam Squares.

Love This Place Travel Log Border

Step 1: Cut a piece from the blue patterned paper to measure 12″ x 3-1/2″.

Step 2: Using the Essentials 4-Way Punch, punch the top corners of the blue paper.

Step 3: Using the Custom Cutting System, cut a circle from the pink patterned paper using the inside of the medium circle with the Green Blade. Cut 1/2″ strips from the pink patterned paper. Adhere them behind the circle, cutting the ends in points. Adhere to the bottom edge of the blue paper.

Step 4: Using the Crimson Cardstock, punch a 12″ border using the Cityscape Border Punch. Cut to measure 2″ tall.

Step 5: Using the Black Cardstock, punch a 12″ border using the Cityscape Border Punch. Cut the border to measure 1-1/2″ tall. Turn this piece over, adhering it to the top of the Crimson border using Foam Squares.

Step 6: Tear a piece of Beige Cardstock to measure 12″ x 1/2″. Adhere it to the top of the Black Cardstock border.

Step 7: Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
