Hello Scrapbook Border

RainbowRush_Border3Step 1: Cut a piece of green patterned paper to measure 3″ x 12″ for the base of the border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of purple patterned paper to measure 2-1/2″ x 11-1/2″ and adhere it to the base.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Navy Cardstock to measure 2″ x 11-1/8″.

Step 4: Using the Original Border Maker System with the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from blue patterned paper measuring 12″ x 3/4″. Punch a border from red patterned paper measuring 12″ x 3/4″. Punch one more border from yellow patterned paper measuring 12″ x 3/4″.

Step 4: Cut a strip from the plaid patterned paper to measure 1/4″ x 12″.

Step 5: Adhere the borders to the cardstock as shown, with the plaid strip between the borders. Trim away any excess from the edge of the cardstock and adhere it to the base of the border.

Step 6: Adhere “Hello” and laser cut embellishments.

Step 7: Cut a piece of yellow patterned paper to measure 6″ x 1-1/2″. Using the All-Purpose Scissors, cut a “v” into each end. Adhere this piece to the back side of the border, as shown.

RainbowRush_Border2 Step 1: Cut a piece of Navy Cardstock to measure 12″ x 1-1/2″.

Step 2: Using the Original Border Maker System with the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from the red patterned paper. Cut it to measure 1-1/4″ high and adhere it to the top of the Navy Cardstock.

Step 3: Cut a piece from the yellow patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1/4″ and adhere it along the top edge of the border. Adhere the purple layered embellishment border along the top of the yellow/red paper seam.

Step 4: Using the Original Border Maker System with the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from the yellow patterned paper. Cut it to measure 1-1/4″ wide and adhere it to the back side of the border so the wave is just below the red paper. Repeat this with a piece of blue paper.

Step 5: Adhere stickers and layered embellishments to the border.

Some Kind of Wonderful Scrapbook Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of red patterned paper to measure 3″ x 12″.RainbowRush_Border1

Step 2: Using the Original Border Maker System with the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge, punch along both long ends of the red patterned paper.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Navy Cardstock to measure 1-1/4″ x 12″ and adhere it to the top middle of the red paper.

Step 4: Cut a piece of yellow patterned paper to measure 1″ x 12″ and adhere it along the middle of the Navy Cardstock.

Step 5: Adhere the red laser-cut embellishment to the top of the border using the Tape Runner and Repositionable Tape Runner Refill.

Step 6: Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to measure 1/2″ x 12″ and adhere it from the ends of the embellishment. Trim away any excess on the ends with the All-Purpose Scissors.

Step 7: Using the Original Border Maker System with the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from the blue patterned paper and cut it to measure 3/4″ wide.

Step 8: Using All-Purpose Scissors, snip at the diamonds, as shown.

Step 9: Run adhesive along the outer edge of the back side of the circle embellishment. Gently fold/overlap the piece on the back of the embellishment to leave a ruffled/scalloped edge. Adhere this piece to the front of the border.

Step 10: Finish the border by adding embellishments and pearls.

  1. Actually, dips and diamonds looks more like waves and anchors. I think I will use it on some of my cruise pictures.
