Celebrate the Little Things with this Outdoor Scrapbook Layout

Are you ready to create some genuinely awesome outdoor scrapbook layouts? You’re in luck, because the Genuine collection has a rustic, natural feel to it that’s perfect for creating layouts like today’s blog post! Let’s explore!

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use the dark blue patterned paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece from the wood grain patterned paper to measure 11-1/4″ x 9-3/4″ and adhere it to the layout.

Step 3: Cut a piece of the blue patterned paper to measure 11″ x 9-1/2″ and adhere it to the wood grain paper. Cut a photo to measure 4″ x 4-1/2″ and adhere it next to the mats.

Step 4: On the bottom row of the grid, cut a strip of the plaid patterned paper to measure 3/4″ x 4-1/2″ and adhere it to the left side.

Step 5: Adhere a 6″ x 4″ photo to a large mat and adhere it next to the plaid strip. Cut a mat to measure 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ and adhere it next to the right of the photo.

Step 6: Cut varied widths and heights of a variety of papers that are no taller than 1-3/4″. Using scissors, fold the end of the paper gently in half, cutting at an angle to create a “v.” Adhere the banner strips along the bottom edge of the wood grain paper.

Step 7: Adhere a border sticker along the edge of the wood grain paper horizontally.

Step 8: Tuck a small mat behind the lower edge of the wood grain paper.

Step 9: Adhere stickers and embellishments, adding Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Journal as desired.

All the authenticity and aesthetic of the great outdoors can be found in the Genuine collection. What do you like most about this outdoor scrapbook layout? Let us know in the comments below!
