Promote Positivity With These Quarantine Scrapbook Borders and Card

Due to COVID-19, 2020 is going to be remembered as a difficult and unusual year for so many. A lot of the year has been filled with a bit of gloom or unsteadiness, and many are looking for the silver lining. As scrapbookers, it’s up to us to find the bright sides in these situations and bring them to life in our albums and projects. Take a look at this DIY quarantine card and quarantine scrapbook border ideas and start thinking about how you can use the Love Each Other Theme Pack to promote positivity!

To create these borders and card, you will need:

Step 1: Cut a piece of red patterned paper to measure 12″ x 4-1/4″ for the base of your border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of blue heart patterned paper to measure 12″ x 3-1/2″ and adhere on the red piece.

Step 3: Use the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Blue Blade to create two circles with Cloud and White Cardstock. Then, use the Red Blade to cut the red and blue heart patterned papers. Adhere these pieces to the cardstock.

Step 4: Use the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Green Blade to cut a piece of red patterned paper. Then, use the Red Blade to cut a piece of lined patterned paper. Adhere these pieces together.

Step 5: Adhere all the circles to the border as shown.

Step 6: Add stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Journal as desired.


Step 1: Use a card from the Blank Card Kit for your base.

Step 2: Cut a piece of red patterned paper to measure 5-1/4″ x 4″. Adhere to the base.

Step 3: Use the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Green Blade, cut a piece of dot patterned paper. Then, cut a piece of blue heart patterned paper using the Red Blade. Adhere the circles together and to the layout as shown.

Step 4: Add stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Journal as desired.


Step 1: Cut a piece of red patterned paper to measure 12″ x 2-1/2″ for the base of your border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of white lined patterned paper to measure 2″ x 12. Adhere on top of the base.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Cloud Cardstock to measure 1-1/2″ x 12″ Use the 12-inch Trimmer and Stamping Blade on both sides. Adhere to the previous piece.

Step 4: Cut a piece of blue heart patterned paper to measure 1″ x 12″. Adhere to the previous piece as shown.

Step 5: Add stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Journal as desired.
