Due to restrictions and safety guidelines imposed by COVID-19, weddings have looked a lot different this year. Smaller guest lists mean you may need to find a way to support the lovebirds without actually being there in person. In fact, blog contributor Tina Kistinger recently got inspired to send her love from a distance with the help of the All My Love collection — check out these fun DIY wedding cards she made!
Tina’s Inspiration:
I’m loving the fall palette of the All My Love collection. I wanted to create a project that is of a celebratory nature for weddings and anniversaries — something that still celebrates the event without having to be there in person due to COVID-19 restrictions.
To create this card you’ll need:
- All My Love Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- All My Love Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer with the Scoring Blade or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner Refill or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Hook and Loop Self-Adhesive Dots

Step 1: Cut three 5″ x 5″ squares out of White Solid Cardstock. Cut two 4-5/8″ x 4-5/8″ squares and one 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ square out of patterned paper.
Step 2: Score the white squares on the diagonal.

Step 3: Cut the three squares of patterned paper on the diagonal.
Step 4: Adhere the three cardstock squares together using the Tape Runner
Step 5: Adhere the paper triangles to the cardstock using repositionable adhesive.

Step 6: Combine one hook and loop together and adhere to the upper corner. Fold up the card to resemble a pyramid to close the card and set the adhesive dot.

Step 7: Embellish with stickers and flower embellishments. For any sticker that hangs off the edge, apply some baby powder to take away the stickiness.
Step 8: Write your sentiment on one of the blank panels.
Step 9: Collapse the card to a flat rectangle to fit into a 5″ x 7″ envelope for mailing or gifting.

This is a wonderful idea, I am going to give it a try.
Going to try this out. Not sure what a hook & loop is tho ?
Velcro
Hook and loop is a velcro piece. One side is “hook” and the other is “loop.” Found in craft and sewing stores.
