As much of the world continues to practice social distancing, working from home, attending virtual classes, wearing masks and more, the current situation has also resurged precious commodities — quality time together as a family and home cooking. In fact, with stay-at-home orders and safety guidelines and practices, many families have turned to baking (banana bread, anyone?), cooking and eating together for comfort, entertainment, conversation and connection. (Added bonus: Numerous studies have also shown that having family dinners lead to healthy benefits, like an increase in academic performance, higher self-esteem and better overall nutrition, just to name a few!)
