Store a Treasure Trove of Natural Wonders: Easy Scrapbook Layout

Eons and eons of water, fire and ice have sculpted our planet into an incredible work of art and birthed spectacular scenery. Throughout the world, we can explore the depths of giant crystal caves, hike our way through gorgeous national parks, hit the waves at vast beaches and so much more. Many outdoor destinations are just downright jaw-dropping… and, of course, beg for a photo op! Take a look at this easy scrapbook layout and imagine what natural wonders you show off!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the yellow-green wash tonal paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut two pieces of designer papers to measure 12″ x 2″. Adhere one along the top edge and one along the bottom edge.

Step 3: Layer border embellishments along the edges of the previous papers.

Step 4: Cut two photo mats from emerald green stripes tonal paper to measure 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″. Cut one photo mat from emerald green stripes tonal paper to measure 4″ x 6″. Adhere photos: (2) 3″ x 4″ and (1) 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.

Step 5: Cut a strip of paper to measure 7″ x 1-1/4″. Adhere to the layout. 

Step 6: Cut a border to measure 7″. Adhere along the bottom edge of the previous piece.

Step 7: Adhere stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Journal as desired.

  1. These examples that you post of late are extremely busy and it take away from the photos posted. It overwhelms the photos

  2. In addition to the previous comment which I agree with. The instructions leave something to be desired. On this layout I can’t even work out what step 5 and 6 refer to. It was similar with your previous post too. More details are needed.

    1. Took me a minute, but I do see the pieces from steps 5 & 6 placed above the smaller photos.

  3. I agree with Dianna. The purpose of my scrapbooks are to preserve and enjoy the pictures, more than to see how decorative I can make the pages. I do, however, enjoy decorating the pages, just not quite so elaborate.

  4. I think this layout is stunning and the 1st one I wanted to make using the Gemstone collection!
