Pick of the Creative Patch: Fall Scrapbook Layout

There’s something special about the sights, smells and tastes of autumn — from hopping on hayrides to sipping hot and cinnamony apple cider, walking atop crunchy fallen leaves to navigating through corn mazes… and more! One of the most enduring autumnal traditions for many is going to a pumpkin patch to choose your very own pumpkin(s) to carve and don your front steps! Yes, harvesting these orbs of farm-fresh fun do make for great memories with your kids and grandkids — and you can see how you can take those autumnal afternoons at the local pumpkin patch and make this fall scrapbook layout!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the olive green dashes designer paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of Light Gray Solid Cardstock to measure 10-3/4″ x 10-3/4″. 

Step 3: Cut seven pieces from various designer and tonal papers to measure 1″ x 10-1/4″. 

Step 4: Cut five pieces from various designer and tonal papers to measure 3/4″ x 10-1/4″. 

Step 5: Adhere the strips randomly on the cardstock, leaving a 1/4″ mat around the pieces. Adhere the piece of cardstock to the layout.

Step 6: Cut a piece of the marigold ledger tonal paper to measure 10-3/4″ x 2″. Adhere to the layout, just below the piece of cardstock with the strips.

Step 7: Adhere a border sticker along the seams of the cardstock and ledger paper.

Step 8: Cut photo mats to measure (2) 4-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ and (1) 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ from Navy Solid Cardstock.

Step 9: Adhere stickers and embellishments to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 10: Journal as desired.
