Marvel at Mother Nature With This National Parks Scrapbook Layout

It’s important to adore and explore all that Mother Nature has to offer — majestic mountain ranges, winding rivers, towering forests, vast star-filled skies that expand beyond the eye can see. And if you want to pitch your memories of the great outdoors into your next creations, then the Leave Nothing Behind collection is a must-have! From camping trips with the kiddos to hiking adventures (and everything in between!) this collection will help guide your way… as you can see in this national parks scrapbook layout!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the stone cracks texture paper as base.

Step 2: Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut one 1-1/4″ x 12″ strips from each of the following papers: pine needles and woven textile designer papers, as well as canyon and forest texture papers.

Step 3: Then cut one 3/4″ x 12″ strips from each of the following papers: cobblestone, burlap, diamonds chevrons and dark green geometric blanket designer papers.

Step 4: Align and adhere one 3/4″ x 12″ on one 1-1/4″ x 12″ strip. Arrange strips 1/2″ from all edges of base page, overlapping at corners as shown and adhere.

Step 5: Layer the mountains and trees border stickers on the top and bottom strips, trimming off excess at edge of page with the 12-inch Trimmer or All-Purpose Scissors. Layer the multi-stripe border stickers on the middle of the side strips, trimming off excess at edge of page.

Step 6: Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut an 8-1/2″ square from woven textiles designer paper. Align and adhere on base page.

Step 7: Crop three photos and “Respect your Mother” variety mat to 4″ x 4″. Adhere to 8-1/2″ to the woven textiles designer paper, blocking photos and mat card together. Trim the pines journal tag embellishment and adhere to bottom of mat card. Journal with Dual-Tip Pen on mat card.

Step 8: Add embellishment clusters as shown or desired. Add stickers and embellishments as shown or desired, adhering some with Foam Squares for added dimension.
