To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Cut a ring using the inside and outside edges of the Jumbo Circle Pattern with the Blue Blade from Hot Fudge Solid Cardstock. Cut another ring using the inside and outside edges of the Jumbo Circle Pattern with the Green Blade from Hot Fudge Solid Cardstock. Set aside the cut-out frame for the base of this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of dusty sky blue raindrops tonal paper to measure 11-3/4″ x 11-3/4″ and add to the cut out frame*.

Step 3: Using the Embossed Hexagon Punch, punch about 40 hexagon shapes from various patterned papers. Adhere the hexagon shapes to the smaller hot fudge ring as shown. Trim the excess. (As you adhere hexagon shapes, some of the shapes may not align perfectly in the end. We will cover the area with embellishments.) Adhere it to the larger hot fudge ring and add to the base.

Step 4: Cut an oval using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Oval Pattern with the Red Blade from Hot Fudge Solid Cardstock. Cut an oval using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Oval Pattern with the Green Blade from the honey yellow texture designer paper. Adhere the honeycomb border stickers and trim the excess. Add it to the hot fudge piece and then to the embellishment.

Step 5: Using the Bumblebee Punch, punch three bumblebees from Black Solid Cardstock. Cut three ovals using the inside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Oval Pattern with the Blue Blade from the honey yellow texture designer paper. Adhere it to the body of your bumblebees. Cut a piece of dusty sky blue speckles designer paper to fill in the wings.

Step 6: Adhere mats, stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

  1. Sachiyo, I think I just want you to make my pages for me. BEAUTIFUL! Stunning! I don’t think I have the patience.

  2. I agree with Laura T. Your layouts are INCREDIBLE!! Where do you get the time? Absolutely AMAZING!

  3. It would be great if these layouts were on a PDF file. So we can print them off. I save all these to my computer. But, when I go to a scrapbook retreat or get together. I always forget the computer, but I always have my binder of layouts with me. I prefer paper, so I can write down some tips. Just a thought
