Gathering with friends and family enrichen our lives, no matter if it’s a small Sunday dinner or a large seasonal get-together (hello, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter!) or even meeting up at a local festival or fair for a good cup of coffee and even better chats. Well, if you’re wanting to harvest a fabulous fall scrapbook layout after chillin’ with your gnomies, then blog contributor Sachiyo Omitsu is serving up this extra-cute idea that you’ll want to bookmark and print out!

To create this layout you will need:
- Golden Harvest Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Golden Harvest Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Golden Harvest Layered Border Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Golden Harvest Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Custom Cutting System with Circle, Oval & Gemstone Patterns or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- All-Purpose Scissors or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Brown Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Cut out a 1″ width frame from the dark green ombré wash tonal paper and use it as the base. Set aside the cut out square piece for Step 3*. Cut the light green leaves designer paper to measure 11-3/4″x11-3/4″ and add to the frame.


Step 2: Cut the following segments to create the pumpkin gnomes:
- Body:
- Using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Oval Pattern and the Red Blade, cut five ovals from
light orange leaves collage designer paper. - Using the inside edge of the small heart (egg shape) Custom Cutting System Gemstone Pattern and then Red Blade, cut five ovals from light orange leaves collage designer paper.
- Ink the edges with the Brown Dual-Tip Pen.
- Using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Oval Pattern and the Red Blade, cut five ovals from
- Nose:
- Using the inside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut two circles
from red leaf fabric designer paper.
- Using the inside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut two circles
- Hat:
- Cut a piece of the plaid designer paper to measure 2-1/2″ x 3″ and 4″ x 7″.
- Trim each piece to make a gnome hat as shown. Ink the edges with the Brown Dual-tip Pen.
Assemble the gnomes as shown. Use a piece of Foam Square for the nose for added dimension.
Step 3: Cut one mat to measure 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ and two mats to measure 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ from the square piece you cut in Step 1*. Cut one mat to measure 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ and two mats to measure 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ from White Solid Cardstock.


Step 4: Adhere stickers and photo mats, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
