Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches: Introduction & Week 1

Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches are here to make a splash! Every Wednesday at 5pm CT (AU: Thursday at 8am AET) in July and August — for a total of 9 challenges — we’ll bring you a weekly sketch challenge right here on this blog to take on for the chance to win some sun-sational prizes! PLUS, there are HOT Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches Deals for select discounted tools that you can take advantage of, too! Let’s dive into the details…

NOTE: This year’s Sizzlin’ challenges will not be live events.

• Who can participate? All Advisors and customers who are members of the Virtual Crop Facebook Group.
• When are the challenges? Every Wednesday during July and August. Challenges will post Wednesdays at 5pm CT and end on the following Tuesdays at 11:59pm CT (AU: start Thursdays at 8am AET and end on Wednesdays at 2:59pm AET).
• What is the challenge? Each week a new sketch challenge will be shared in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group and on the blog. Use the sketch as your jumping off point to create a layout using the theme and products of your choice (predominantly new or old CM products must be used to be eligible to win). When you complete the challenge, you’ll want to post your project in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group with the corresponding hashtag for the chance to win the weekly prize. For example, the first challenge hashtag is #SizzlinSketches1.
• What can you win? Two winners each week will get their choice of one (1) Paper Pack + one (1) Sticker Pack + one (1) Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches Deals Tool.
• When will winners be announced? Wednesdays at noon CT (AU: Thursdays) — the day after the challenge has ended.
• What are the Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches Deals? There are HOT deals on tools related to each weekly challenge! All of the discounted tools are available now to purchase at their reduced price on the Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches Deals page on the CM website (CA | AU) until Sept. 6 or while supplies last.

But that’s not all…

One Grand Prize Winner who completes all 9 weekly challenges by the end of summer will win a $200 SHOPPING SPREE! As you complete each challenge, color in the corresponding week’s design on this Weekly Coloring Page. Once you complete all 9 weeks’ worth of challenges, share a photo of your coloring page with the hashtag #SizzlinSketchesGrandPrize in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group by Sept. 3 at 11:59pm CT (AU: 4 Sept. at 2:59pm AET) for the chance to be the Grand Prize Winner!

Week 1 — Summer Patriotism

This week we’re featuring the Beaded Ovals Border Punch, which you can get at HOT discounted price now! Below is an idea for using it with the Perfectly Patriotic collection to create a Fourth of July-themed layout! Use this sketch as your jumping off point to create a fun layout using the theme and products of your choice!

Share your layout using the hashtag #SizzlinSketches1 in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group by Tuesday, July 9, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 10 July, at 2:59pm AET) to have the chance to earn your choice of one (1) Paper Pack + one (1) Sticker Pack + one (1) Sizzlin’ Summer Sketches Deals tool*.
