Play Ball With This Layout

We’re currently in the overlap of both football and baseball season — and we have the PERFECT layout for the occasion! This layout uses both the On the Football Field Embellishments and the On the Ball Field Embellishments so you get the best of both worlds. And, this is the perfect time to use the new Photo Trimmer. Keep reading to see how you can make this homerun of a layout.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a sheet of White Solid Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a sheet of field stripes (with court paper on the reverse side) paper to 11-1/2” x 11-1/2”. Then cut the piece in half to make two 5-3/4” x 11-1/2” pieces. Adhere the field stripes on the left side of the layout and the court paper on the right side of the layout. (Optionally, for a layout featuring only football, use just the field stripes side; for a layout featuring only baseball, use just the court side.)

Step 3: Cut an 11-1/2” x 1/4″ strip with White Solid Cardstock and adhere it along the middle seam. Cut seven 1/4″ x 1-1/2” strips with White Solid Cardstock. Adhere on the middle strip as “laces” or “stripes.”

Step 4: Crop two photos to 3-3/4” x 3-3/4” and mount on two 4” x 4” pieces of White Solid Cardstock. Adhere on the layout, as shown. Cut two 4” x 1/4″ strips with White Solid Cardstock and adhere below or above the photos. Journal as desired.

Step 5: Adhere On the Football Field Embellishments on the left side and On the Ball Field Embellishments on the right side. Use Foam Squares for dimension, if desired.
