Watch The Years Go By With This School Layout

Between the first day of Kindergarden, joing the school play, making varsity, school dances and gradustion, there’s a lot to keep track of during the school years! To create this spread you will need:

• School Dayz Variety Mat Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• School Dayz Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• School Dayz Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• All-Purpose Scissors or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Photo Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia) — returning in November!
• Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Foam Squares Variety Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Black Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Use two sheets of annual paper (the grade side for the left and the back of the next grade paper on the right) as the bases for this two-page spread.

Step 2: Cut a 4-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ piece with dots paper and adhere on the right edge of the left page, 1/2″ from the top. Cut a 7-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ piece with dots paper and adhere on the left edge of the right page (vertically align the two). 

Step 3: Cut a 5-1/2″ x 3/4″ strip with dictionary paper. Using scissors, cut a “V” on the left edge and adhere tucked behind and below the dots piece on the left page. Cut an 8-1/2″ x 3/4″ strip with dictionary paper. Cut a “V” on the right edge and adhere tucked behind and above the dots piece on the right page. Cut apart a lockers border sticker at 4-1/2”. Adhere the 4-1/2” sticker piece on the bottom of the dots piece on the left page. Adhere the 7-1/2” sticker piece on the top of the dots piece on the right page.

Step 4: Crop a photo to 3-3/4″ x 5-3/4″ and mount on a 4″ x 6″ piece of White Solid Cardstock. Mount on a 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ teal handwriting lines mat and adhere on the left page, as shown. Crop two photos to 3″ x 3″ and adhere to the right of the matted photo.

Step 5: Adhere two 6″ x 4″ photos on the dots piece on the right page. Crop one photo to 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and another to 3-3/4″ x 5″. Adhere both on the right side of the right page.

Step 6: Add embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for dimension.

Step 7: Journal on the notebook paper as desired.
