Tie This Christmas Layout Up With a Bow
Why should wrapping presents get all the fun of using bows and ribbons?! Create absolutely adorable borders fit for any and all gift recipients with the Ribbons & Bows Border Punch. The rows of bows make for the perfect accompaniment to holiday spreads. Keep reading to see three borders you can recreate.

To create these borders you will need:
- Christmas Charm Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Christmas Charm Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Christmas Charm Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Bright White, Dark Green, Gold Shimmer, Black and Cranberry Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer Scallop Blade or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Ribbons & Bows Border Punch or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares Variety Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Gold Metallic Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

The Gift of Family Border:
Step 1: Cut a piece of Black Cardstock to measure 3-1/4” x 12” for the base of the border.
Step 2: Using the Bows & Ribbons Border Punch, punch 2 borders from the red tonal stars paper.
Step 3: Using the Bows & Ribbons Border Punch, punch 2 borders from the floral filigree paper.
Step 4: Using the Bows & Ribbons Border Punch, punch a border from the yellow stripes paper.
Step 5: Cut 9 strips to measure 3” x 1” from the sparkles paper.
Step 6: Adhere the red and green punched borders on the 3” segments of sparkle paper, cutting any excess with a scissors.
Step 7: Adhere the 3” x 1” strips with the borders to the cardstock base with 2 strips on top and 7 on the bottom, leaving about 1/8” in between each strip.
Step 8: Cut a piece from the yellow stripes to measure 3” x 2”. Adhere in between the previous strips.
Step 9: Cut two strips from the green plaid paper to measure 3” x ¼”. Adhere along the top and bottom of the yellow stripes paper.
Step 10: Adhere the title sticker to this piece with Foam Squares.
Step 11: Using the yellow stripes border and a scissors, cut out individual “bows”. Adhere to the border randomly using Precision Point Adhesive.
Deck The Halls Border:
Step 1: Cut a piece of Gold Shimmer Cardstock to measure 12” x 2”, cutting on one edge with the Scallop Blade on the Trimmer. Use this piece as the base of the border.
Step 2: Cut a piece using red plaid paper to measure 12” x 1-1/4”, cutting on one edge with the Scallop Blade on the trimmer. Adhere to the border base with the scallop facing the straight edge of the Gold Shimmer Cardstock.
Step 3: Cut a piece of floral filigree paper to measure 12” x 3/8”. Adhere along the flat edge of the red plaid paper.
Step 4: Adhere the candy border sticker along the seam of the red and green papers.
Step 5: Using the Bows & Ribbons Border Punch, punch a border from Gold Shimmer Cardstock. Adhere to the top of the red plaid paper strip on the border.
Step 6: Adhere the title sticker using Foam Squares.
Peace Border:
Step 1: Cut a piece of Black Solid Cardstock to measure 12” x 3” for the base of the border.
Step 2: Cut a piece of Bright White Solid Cardstock to measure 12” x 2-1/2”.
Step 3: Using the Ribbons and Bows Border Punch, punch a border from Dark Green Solid Cardstock.
Step 4: Using the Ribbons & Bows Border Punch, punch a border from Cranberry Solid Cardstock.
Step 5: Using the Ribbons & Bows Border Punch, punch a border from Gold Shimmer Cardstock.
Step 6: Adhere the punched border pieces to the Bright White Solid Cardstock piece. Then cut three segments from this piece to measure 2-3/4” x 2-1/2”. Adhere to the border.
Step 7: Cut a piece from Bright White Solid Cardstock to measure 2-3/4” x 2-1/2”. Adhere to the border using Foam Squares.
Step 8: Use Gold Dual Tip Pen to doodle along the outside edges.
Step 9: Adhere the title stickers using Foam Squares.
