Celebrate Healing With This Recovery Layout

Health journeys can be difficult, so when there’s reason to celebrate, you want to memorialize the moment! The recovery layout below was created with the On the Mend collection which features icons of bandaids, stethoscopes and tissues in circles reminiscent of stickers. Recreate it yourself in 12 easy steps!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of orange dots paper as the base for the layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of the brown chevron paper to measure 8-1/2” x 12”. Adhere to the left edge of the layout.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Island Waters Solid Cardstock to measure 6-3/4” x 9-1/4”.

Step 4: Cut mats in half, then group four of them together on the cardstock. Cut photos to fit in the openings of the mats to measure: (1) 2-1/8” x 3-1/4” (black mat) and (2) 2-1/2” x 3-3/4” (orange and red mats). Adhere photos.

Step 5: Adhere the cardstock with mats to the upper left side of the layout.

Step 6: Adhere a photo that measures 4” x 6” to a 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” mat. Angle and tuck under the cardstock on the lower right side.

Step 7: Using the red hearts paper and the inside of the medium CCS Circle with the Red Blade, cut five circles.

Step 8: Using the Island Waters Solid Cardstock and the inside of the medium CCS Circle with the Green Blade, cut five circles.

Step 9: Adhere the border embellishments to the top of the Island Waters Solid Cardstock circles, then use a scissors to fussy cut the excess.

Step 10: Adhere the cardstock circles to the red heart circles, then adhere along the bottom edge of the layout using Foam Squares.

Step 11: Cut four hearts from the heart border and adhere along the top right of the layout using Foam Squares.

Step 12: Journal as desired.
