Boo! It’s the Virtual Crop Halloween Pop-Up Challenge!

There is more fun to be had this month in the Virtual Crop Group! Join our Virtual Crop Halloween Party for a spooktacular costume layout contest — a special virtual challenge where you’ll create a layout inspired by the official Halloween Party sketch and Virtual Crop members will decide the grand prize winners!

Post your layout in the group with the hashtag #CMSpooktacular2025 by Monday, Oct. 27 at 11:59pm and your layout may be selected to be a part of the community vote!

How It Works:

Step 1: Create your layout using the official Halloween Party Sketch

Step 2: Snap a photo of your completed masterpiece

Step 3: Share your layout as a new post in the Virtual Crop Group using the hashtag #CMSpooktacular2025 by Monday, Oct. 27 at 11:59pm CT (AU: 28 Oct. at 3:59pm AEDT)

Step 4: Once the entries are in, the Home Office team will select the top 8 layouts, and those will move on to a final community vote! The two layouts with the most likes & comments will win the grand prizes! 🧡

The community vote will be posted as a Featured post in the Virtual Crop Group on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 12pm CT (AU: 30 Oct. at 4am AEDT), with each layout included as an image. To vote, simply like or comment (or both!) the individual photo you want to vote for! Voting closes Friday, Oct. 31st at 11:59pm CTA (AU: 1 Nov. at 3:59pm AEDT).

Frighteningly Asked Questions:

Q: Does my layout need to be halloween themed, or match the sketch exactly? A: No! Just create a layout using the official Halloween Party Sketch shared in the announcement post as your inspiration. Your entry does not need to match the sketch exactly, but it should be Autumn/Fall or Halloween focused.

Q: I can’t get my hashtag to turn blue! What should I do? A: If your hashtag does not hyperlink, don’t worry! We can still see your post and it will still be a part of the contest.

Q: How do I vote? A: When the eight entries selected by the Home Office team are posted as a “Featured” post and ready for voting, like and comment on your favorites! The two layouts with the most engagement (likes, loves, comments) will be the grand prize winners!

Q: Can I use older CM products or non-Halloween papers? A: Yes! While we love seeing Halloween themes, you’re welcome to interpret the sketch in your own creative way using any CM products you have on hand.

Q: I’m new or not apart of the group — can I still join? A: Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to join the Virtual Crop Group and participate. Just make sure you answer the group membership questions and agree to the rules when you join, and you will be approved to join and then you can participate!
