Turn on Vacation Mode with This Tropical Garden Layout

Bring the sunshine to your scrapbook with this vibrant layout featuring the Tropical Garden collection! Bright colors, bold patterns and lush embellishments make this design perfect for capturing your favorite beach days, cruises or sun-soaked adventures. Follow the steps below to recreate this layout — and let your creativity bloom!

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a sheet of green dots tonal paper as the base for this layout. Cut a sheet of blue waves tonal paper to 10-1/2″ × 10-1/2″. (Tip: Remove the inside 9-1/2″ square to conserve paper, if desired.) Adhere the square on the base.

Step 2: Cut a 10″ × 10″ piece of Bright White Cardstock and adhere it on the layout at an angle. Cut nine 3″ squares (three each of orange fanned scallop designer paper, yellow dots ,and green waves tonal papers). Adhere on the white square in a grid pattern as shown.

Step 3: Crop two photos to 2-3/4″ × 2-3/4″ and mount on two of the top grid squares. Cut a sunburst mat to 2-3/4″ × 2-3/4″ and mount on the top middle square. Adhere a blue wave 6-1/2″ × 4-1/2″ mat on the center of the lower six squares. Cut a 6″ × 4″ mat from bright white cardstock and adhere on the mat. Crop a photo to 5-3/4″ × 3-3/4″ and mount on top.

Step 4: Adhere stickers and embellishments, popping some up with foam squares for dimension.

Step 5: Journal as desired on the sunburst mat.
