Scrap Your Sun-Soaked Memories with This Tropical Garden Layout

Sun, sand and snapshots — it’s time to bring your beachy memories to life! This vibrant layout features the Tropical Garden collection, bursting with bold colors, breezy patterns and lush embellishments perfect for documenting paradise. Whether you’re scrapping a cruise, beach day or island getaway, follow the steps below to recreate this sunny design and make it your own!

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a sheet of Bright White Cardstock as the base for this layout. Cut a 12″ x 1″ strip with tan fanned scallop tonal paper and adhere along the top edge of the base.

Step 2: Cut a 12″ x 3″ strip with pink dots tonal paper and adhere just below the tan strip. Adhere a floral border sticker along the seam.

Step 3: Cut a 12″ x 1-3/4″ strip with blue waves tonal paper and adhere along the bottom edge of the layout. Using the wavy border cutting tool, cut a 12″ x 1″ strip with tan fanned scallop tonal paper.

Step 4: Adhere it with the straight edge positioned 2-1/4″ from the bottom of the layout. Then, using the wavy border cutting tool, cut a ribbon from pink dots tonal paper. (Tip: After making the first wavy cut, slide the paper down 1/4″ and over 1/2″ before making the second cut to create the undulating ribbon effect.) Adhere the ribbon as shown. Add a tropical border sticker just above the tan strip.

Step 3: Crop two photos to 5-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and one photo to 3-3/4″ x 5-3/4″. Cut a 6″ x 4″ mat from blue waves tonal paper and mount one of the smaller photos on top. Adhere all photos to the layout as shown.

Step 4: Adhere embellishments and stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares for dimension.

Step 5: Journal as desired.
