Hello friends! When I first saw the Toil & Trouble collection, I smiled because it is too cute for words! And the patterns are so versatile. You can create Halloween, Kitty, or any other everyday layout using this collection!
I will admit, I immediately thought about using this collection to scrapbook my cats, not Halloween. That “meow” washi tape and adorable kitty cat stickers were just calling my name. I couldn’t help it. Let’s not even go into the fact that it has teal and black and white polka dots and triangles… Literally, I could go into all kinds of favorites with this collection.

Woohoo. WASHI TAPE!
It is now part of the Creative Memories line.
Our first offering is part of our Toil & Trouble Collection. Although it might be included in the Halloween line, the designs are in no way themed for the holiday. The colors are bright and can be added to any card flaps to put a finishing touch on your mail.
In fact, add washi tape to ANYTHING for fun! Why not, when you have 26.2 feet on each roll? That means you get over 104 feet between these four rolls.
Most importantly it is photo-safe!

I love family time. It is the best warm and fuzzy feeling there is. I am sure that you have seen these family photos of mine on many projects, but let me share the story.
It was a fall day in 2011. My oldest son was a senior in high school. This mamma bear was on a mission to have fun family photos taken before the birdie left the nest. At this point my boys were so tired of me sticking a camera in their face, so I was feeling “iffy” about how the day might go.
To my surprise, it was the funnest day our family had had in a long time. We smiled, and laughed, and were just plain silly. So, if you have seen some of the silly ones—this is why. We actually got in the car to head home, and they both commented about how much FUN that photo shoot was.
So, find yourself a FUN-loving photographer who will let your family be yourselves—-and capture those memories…..before the nest is empty.

When I first saw this collection you could say I swooned just a tad over it. This color palette is my go-to. It is the colors that I use in decorating my house, and also what I have used predominantly in my scrapbooks over the years. You could say it is my comfort zone. So, most definitely, it was so easy for me to create with. It reminds me of snuggling up on the couch with a warm blanket and a good book. Comfort. It also reminds me of my grandmother and great-grandmother. The doily looking overlay on the paper, the birds, and the vintage clock in the stickers.

Hi, everyone. I have been making plans for September using the Bookworm Stickers and Embellishments. It’s hard to believe that school starts in just a few weeks and I am starting to stress, just a little… My nights are about to get even crazier, not that isn’t already crazy. As I am typing this post, I am wondering if I’ll have any time to scrap in the fall with homework, soccer games, and school events. I guess I’ll enjoy it while it last.
The stickers in this collection are adorable so naturally, for my planner, I used several stickers with a few die cuts. I used my Black Dual-Tip Pen to record my plans for the month of September.

Typically the Labor Day weekend here in the states means that summer is coming to an abrupt end. It means floating in the pool one last time, or splashing in the lake. It means soaking up as much sun as you possibly can before the long winter hits.
Make sure that you remember to document all the summer’s memories–before it is gone. Did you take a vacation to the ocean? Or maybe just a weekend away to the cabin? Whatever it was, make sure you have it in your scrapbooks for years to come!

Getting back to school is not my favourite time of year as I love having the children around the house without the busy school schedules, but once they are back we work into the schedule quickly. I do love taking back to school photos though!
I few years ago I started taking a photo on the first day of school and the last day of school on the front step to show the difference in the children throughout their school year. They always mature quite a bit through the school year, but the biggest difference is their growth. I love the Bookworm digital kit with all of the school related embellishments, but what I really love is the colours as they are muted primary colours.

Hello everybody! Summer is starting to wind down a bit in my household. We have been spending less time at the beach and more time gathering things needed for the new school year, new clothes, shoes etc. Soon, soccer practice will begin and nights fighting with Edward to do his homework at the kitchen table will surely drive me a little crazy, but I am looking forward to it!
Last week, I managed to pull Edward off his computer so we could spend the day at the beach. It was during the week which was great because it was just the two of us. The weather was perfect and Edward was perfectly content and relaxed, playing in the sand. I love watching him enjoy the simpler things in life. I try to take lots of photos to savor the moments I love best.

Why is it that summer comes and goes SO FAST?
One of my all time favorite things about summer is enjoying a nice big slice of watermelon! It just speaks SUMMER! And, every single child loves to indulge in it as well. So, before the summer ends, we had to make sure to capture these precious moments.
