March 8 is International Women’s Day, which is a global day spent celebrating all of the social, cultural, political and economic achievements of women across the world. Everyone knows some incredible women who have made an impact on us — from mothers to teachers to friends and more. Celebrate the Women in your Life

Today is International Women’s Day, so let’s remember and celebrate the women who have been impactful in our lives.

For some, it may have been an inspirational teacher you had growing up, or perhaps a boss or supervisor who went the extra mile to show you success. For me, it was my maternal grandmother, Leona, who we affectionately called “Grandma Onie.” My goal in this life is to be half the woman she was. Let me tell you a little bit about her.
