The Brainiac with Bookworm

How exciting!!!  A collection for all of your school memories.

As you may remember, I am new to the scrapbooking part of papercrafting.  I have a pile of my kids’ school memories that need to get into books.  I am not overwhelmed by the process. I figure I will let the paper “speak” to me.  That is exactly what this Bookworm Collection did to me.  It spoke to me when picking a photo.  My daughter spoke to me as well!  When I showed her the picture that I decided on she said, “really Mom, you couldn’t have picked another picture that made me look less dorky?”.

Easter 2017 Treat Gift Boxes

Easter 2017 is just around the corner. With that, we are hopping around looking for Easter treats for our co-workers and family. We certainly do our fair share of eating sweet treats around the Creative Memories office. Rarely is the candy dish empty (or maybe it is empty all too often and we’re constantly refilling it; I guess it depends on how you look at it.)

Let us show you how to create a most-adorable gift box for those special little treats using just one piece of Cardstock and one piece of Designer Print Paper. Or, just create the base box and decorate the outer portion of the box with paper and a cute border.

Challenge 4- Creative Memories March Virtual Crop

We know that you all love a great sketch.

Sketches have so much life in them.  Use different collections each time, and you are sure to have endless possibilities.  You can also rotate the sketch right or left, and get a whole new take on it.

Sketches are created as a “jumping off” point for you.  They can be interpreted exactly or very loosely.  There are not measurements, so you can make it yours.

Challenge 3- Creative Memories Virtual Crop

This day is just flying by!

So much of North America is experiencing some beautiful weather this weekend. You might be enjoying shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops.   However, it is still pretty cool here in Minnesota.  We are still wearing long pants with long-sleeve shirts, and closed toe shoes.  And, layering.  Maybe more than one layer, possibly even two or three layers.

So, while we are layering on our clothing here in Minnesota, let’s talk about LAYERING our borders on our scrapbook pages.

Challenge 1- Creative Memories March Virtual Crop

Welcome!

We are SOOOO glad that you joined us for the March 2017  Virtual Crop!

We have so many ideas that we hope will inspire you today!

Welcome back to those of you who have virtually cropped with us before, and a BIG warm welcome to all you newbies!

If you are new, you might be asking yourself “What is a Virtual Crop, and WHY am I here?” Yesterday’s blog post helps describe the event.

First and foremost—no need to get out of your jammies!  Just make yourself a cup of tea/coffee, grab a few photos, along with some scrappy supplies!  (Oh, and you will DEFINITELY need some chocolate!)

We will be hosting several challenges right here on the blog, and posting to the events page on Facebook!

Please post your completed pages on the Facebook Events Page to qualify for the door prizes that will be given away at the end of each challenge.  Use the hashtag #CMVirtualCrop.  If you have any questions, just ask in the comments section of each post either here on the blog or on the Facebook Page.

So, let’s get started!
