Hi everyone. I am back with another layout featuring the Bee Mine collection. For those of you who do not know me, I LOVE patterned paper. Often at times, I have a difficult time throwing my scraps away for this reason. For this layout, I decided to play with all of the patterns in the Bee Mine collection.
I love working with old photos, especially when I know the names and even some of the stories that go along with them. I will admit it can be challenging to effectively arrange on a page a group of old delicate black and white photos, in all sizes and conditions.
That’s why I love the new Archiver’s™ collection. The muted color scheme and delicate laser cut embellishments blend so well with the old photos and eras so they complement, not distract, and help pull together a unified page. These borders serve to recreate the feel of an era gone by, to balance pages full of well-loved photos and the memories they evoke.
Oh how life changes to quickly. Little ones grow up. Even though we wish they would stay little for ages. Take advantage of it. Play with balloons, eat the ice cream, lick the sucker—cause some day the opportunity will be missed.
