Go Full Throttle With This Off-Road Scrapbook Layout!

Put the pedal to the metal with this dirt bike-inspired scrapbook layout! The Revved Up! collection lets you create mud- and lightning bolt-filled layouts, and if you add in the Custom Cutting System, you can also create your own background perfect for off-road explorations. So, put your creativity in drive and get ready to have some fun!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the mud tire tracks paper for the base of the layout.

Step 2: Tear a strip of paper from the lightning bolts paper to measure 1-3/4″ x 12″. Adhere along the right edge of the layout.

Step 3: Cut a piece of paper to measure 1″ x 12″ from the geometric paper.  Adhere along the right edge of the layout on top of the lightning bolts strip.

Step 4: Using the outside edge of the Jumbo Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut a circle from metal plate paper. Without moving the Jumbo Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern, use the Red Blade on the inside edge to create a “ring.” Adhere the ring so that it slightly hangs off the left edge of the layout. Trim any excess with scissors.

Step 5: Flip the inside of the circle you cut out in Step 4 over — so that it shows the gears design — and adhere to the middle of the ring.

Step 6: Using the inside edge of the large Rectangle Custom Cutting System Pattern, place it slightly over the edge of the metal plate paper then cut with the Red Blade as shown above. Place the piece under the edge of the outside circle ring.  Repeat this about every 1″ around the outside of the ring.

Step 7: Cut photo mats to measure: (2) 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and (1) 5-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ from geometric paper.

Step 8: Adhere photos to the mats that measure: (2) 4″ x 4″ and (1) 5-1/2″ x 4″.

Step 9: Adhere matted photos to the layout.

Step 10: Cut 1/2″ strips of geometric paper for journaling.  Adhere to the layout.

Step 11: Adhere embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 12: Journal as desired.

How did your off-road layout turn out? How cool is that background?!
