Capture Your Days With The Daily Docket Collection

There are so many special moments to capture each year.

Things like:

  • The birth of a child or grandchild
  • A Wedding
  • Holidays
  • Baptism/Christenings
  • A Milestone Birthday

And, then there are the day-to-day things like:

  • Baby’s First Steps
  • Kindergarten Graduation
  • T-ball Game
  • First Day of School
  • First School Play
  • Baking Cookies with Grandma
  • Playing in the Snow
  • First Trip to the Dentist

All of these events are an important part of our everyday.  When we scrapbook, we want to make sure that we are documenting that “everyday”.  To do that you will want to have our 12″ x 12″ Calendar Grid Pages on hand.  This package contains 12 Calendar Grid pages, and 4 plain white Scrapbook Pages.

Once you have your calendar pages, you will want to create a coordinating page to go with it to add photos of these special times.  To start with a coordinating layout, you will need some designer paper, and The Daily Docket Paper Pack is the perfect touch for that.  The paper has a generic southwestern feel that will enhance any themed photo you have.

Adding a border to any page, will be sure to “wow” all of your viewers.  It adds the fun element to the layout.  The Zig Zag Border Maker Cartridge with the Border Maker System gives a clean, but simple touch to any scrapbook layout.

And, to finish off any layout, just add a few stickers and embellishments.  The Daily Docket Stickers and The Daily Docket Embellishments are the perfect pair for your calendar page and layout, as they highlight all the needs:  daily stickers, monthly die-cuts, appointment icons, arrow and feather die-cuts, and so much more.

Once you have all of these elements added, you have beautifully captured a day or month in your life.  When your family looks at your scrapbook now or in the future, they will have an idea of what your life was like.  There is no better way to gift your life to future generations.

Here’s to a great 2017, and scrapbooking your daily endeavors in your scrapbooks.

Happy Creating!

  1. Beautiful, Melissa! I like the way that every day on the calendar doesn’t have to be special, but small photos or embellishments can be placed there. I have never tried this type of scrapping. 2017 might see a new leaf being turned over for me. :-)

  2. Love the calendars and have ordered a set to do up ahead and use as my calendar to organize the family. Was trying to decide how to handle those messy blocks…covering with a photo is a fab idea!
