Dreaming of the Sea with the Maritime Nautical Scrapbook Layout

Is the ocean calling your name? Well, if it is, then you need to get the Maritime scrapbook collection in your hands to create this layout! The soothing color palette of blue, green and soft neutrals is perfect for all of your beach and oceanside memories. Let’s take a look!

To create this scrapbook layout, you will need:

• Maritime Paper Pack
• Maritime Laser Cut Border Embellishments
• Maritime Stickers
• White Cardstock
• 12-inch Straight Trimmer
• 12-inch Decorative Trimmer
• Tape Runner with Repositionable Refill
• Foam Squares
• Brown Dual-Tip Pen

Step 1: Use a piece of blue patterned paper as the base for your layout.

Step 2: Cut the wood patterned paper to measure 11″ x 11″. Adhere this piece to the center of the base.

Step 3: Cut a piece of White Cardstock to measure 12″ x 5-1/2″. Then, cut various pieces of designer paper with the Decorative Trimmer. Adhere with Repositionable Adhesive to the White Cardstock by layering each piece on top of each other. The layout shown has 9 wave strips. Trim this piece down to 11″ wide.

Step 4: Cut 2 pieces of dark blue patterned paper to measure 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ for the photos mats. Then, adhere your 4″ x 4″ photos to the mats and to the layout. Note: We added one of our photos under the waves and the other within the waves. To do this, carefully tuck the photo in between the desired waves.

Step 5: Adhere the entire wave piece to the bottom part of the layout as shown.

Step 6: Embellish your layout by adding stickers and laser cut embellishments. Make sure to use Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 7: Journal your story as desired with a Brown Dual-Tip Pen.
