With the number of sports and activities available to kids these days, many parents and grandparents never see an off-season. It’s easy to take all of these sports memories for granted, but the days of youth and pee-wee sports fly by, which is why it’s important to commemorate these moments as they happen. I love when the kids try a new sport! What they may lack in raw talent, they make up for with genuine enthusiasm. I enjoy sitting on the sidelines with friends and family watching the little ones cluster around the soccer ball like ants on a sugar cube. The papers and embellishments in the Fanatic collection were the perfect color to display my daughter’s soccer game. They complemented the pictures without overwhelming them. I love, LOVE layered embellishments, so of course, had to use them as well as popping up a couple of stickers with Foam Squares to get a dimensional effect and shadow. The enamel stickers from the embellishment pack were the perfect way to add a little extra flair to finish the page. Go Tigers!

To create this layout, you will need:

• Fanatic Paper Pack
• Fanatic Embellishments
• Fanatic Stickers
• Navy Cardstock
• 4-Way Hearts and Stars Corner and Hole Punch
• 12-inch Straight Trimmer
• Multi-Purpose Tool
• Tape Runner
• Foam Squares
• Black Dual-Tip Pen

Step 1: Start with the blue diamond patterned paper as your base.

Step 2: Cut a piece of white patterned paper to measure 11″ x 11″. Center the white patterned paper and adhere to the layout.

Step 3: Cut a piece of the grass patterned paper to measure 12″ x 4″ and adhere to the lower half of the layout.

Step 4: Cut a strip of the gravel patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1/2″ and adhere to the top of the grass paper.

Step 5: Cut three photo mats from Navy Cardstock that are 1/8″ bigger than your photos. Mats shown on this layout are (1) 6-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ and (1) 4-1/8″ x 6-1/8″.

Step 6: Punch all four corners of each mat with the 4-Way Hearts and Stars Corner and Hole Punch. Insert and adhere the photos to the mats and then to the page as shown.

Step 7: Finish by adhering stickers and embellishments using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Use the Multi-Purpose Tool to enhance the page with enamel stickers.
