instructions

Step 1: Use White Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of burgundy patterned paper to measure 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. Adhere it to the cardstock. Cut a piece of gold patterned paper to measure 11-1/2″ x 1-1/2″. Adhere it along the top edge of the burgundy paper.

Step 3: Using the Basketweave Border Punch, punch a border from Navy Cardstock. Cut strips from the yellow and green patterned paper to measure 3/8″ wide. Weave it through the basketweave border as shown. Trim any excess from the edges of the border and adhere it just below the gold paper.

Step 4: Using the Dips & Diamonds Border Maker Cartridge in the Original Border Maker System, punch a border from the green patterned paper. Cut it to measure 3/4″ wide and adhere it just below the basketweave border.

Step 5: Cut a piece of gold patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1/4″ and adhere it along the seam between the two previously adhered borders.

Step 6: Cut a piece of white dot patterned paper to measure 3″ x 6″ and adhere it behind the laser border. Adhere that to the far left side of the layout.

Step 7: Create photo mats by cutting three pieces from the gold patterned paper to measure 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″, 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″. Adhere them to the layout.

Step 8: Adhere photos that measure 4″ x 3″, 4″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″ to the gold mats.

Step 9: Adhere stickers and embellishments to the layout as desired. Pop some up with Foam Squares for added dimension.

Life is better when you view things with a sunny outlook and focus on what makes you happiest. This rainbow scrapbook layout idea is a great way to perk up projects and share them with the people in your life. What types of photos will you fill this layout with? Comment below and let us know!
