Step 1: Use a piece of twinkling stars designer paper as the base for this layout. Cut a 12″ x 4″ piece of snow designer paper and adhere on the bottom of the layout.
Step 2: Using the outside edge of the Jumbo Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle with White Solid Cardstock. Align the circle on the 13×13 Custom Cutting System Mat, and with a ruler and pencil, draw lines across it at every inch. Cut the circle into 1″ strips. Measure and cut strips into 1-3/4″ “bricks.” Reassemble and adhere the “igloo” on a piece of Baby Blue Solid Cardstock, evenly spacing the bricks. Trim around the igloo using Micro-Tip Scissors. Adhere on the layout.
Step 3: Using the outside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut just the top of a circle with White Solid Cardstock. Finish cutting using the 12-inch Trimmer to create the igloo door. Measure and cut into bricks, as shown. Adhere on a piece of Baby Blue Solid Cardstock. Trim around it using Micro-Tip Scissors. Trace and cut another Baby Blue Solid Cardstock piece the same size to create dimension. Adhere on the igloo as shown. Using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut the top of a circle with a variety mat. Finish cutting using the 12-inch Trimmer. Adhere on the igloo door to create a journal box.
Step 4: Crop two photos to 5″ x 3-1/2″ and adhere on the bottom of the layout. Crop two photos to 3″ x 4″ and mat with two 3-3/8″ x 4-3/8″ pieces of snow designer paper. Adhere on the layout as shown.
Step 5: Add a flocked border, embellishments and stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares for added dimension.
Step 6: Journal as desired.
