Step 1: Use a piece of reeds paper as the base for this layout. Cut a 2? x 12? strip with animals paper and adhere to the right edge of the layout.
Step 2: Crop two photos to 5-3/4? x 3-3/4? and adhere on two 6? x 4? pieces of Canary Solid Cardstock. Mount on two 6-1/2? x 4-1/2? variety mats and adhere on the layout as shown.

Step 3: Cut a 4-1/2? x 12? strip with cabin paper. Cut a 4? x 12? strip with plaid paper and adhere on top. Select three 4? x 6? mats (“These are the Good Old Days”, “Relax! You’re on Lake Time” and dock scene). Cut the mats apart, giving you 4?-wide sections with titles, rods, dock and night scene. Adhere on the plaid strip at regular intervals. Mount the border on the layout at an angle. Trim off the excess at top and bottom using Micro-Tip Scissors.
Step 4: Adhere embellishments and stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares for dimension.
Step 5: Journal as desired.
