NSD 2024 Virtual Event

Did you know that Creative Memories proclaimed the first Saturday of each May to be “National Scrapbook Day” way back in 1994 as an opportunity for scrapbookers to gather and celebrate their hobby? Since then, it has been embraced by scrapbookers and manufacturers worldwide! We are proud to have originated this “holiday” and are happy to continue to bring you amazing products not just for NSD but also to help you document the special moments and memories of your life year-round!

1. Watch Noreen’s LIVE tutorial on YouTube at 9am CT today! Can’t make it live? Watch the recording on YouTube or in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group.
   • Facebook recently changed their permissions for live streaming in groups, and as a result, we will not be able to live stream the tutorial in the group due to the platform we use to stream. We will post the recording in the Virtual Crop Group following the live — by 10am CT.
2. We let you know you’ll want to have the NSD 2024 Customer Bundle and Forest Mushrooms Border Punch on hand and it’s time to get them out! There are two options for you to choose from on how to use your NSD 2024 Customer Bundle:
   • Complete the projects from the NSD 2024 Project Booklet included in your Customer Bundle. Following along with the booklet instructions and handy tutorial video from Noreen below, you will be able to create 7 projects (totaling 14 pages)!
   • Take on new sketch challenges below in this post and/or in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group. Use this flyer or scroll down further on this post to reference images that will show how you can split up the contents in your NSD Customer Bundle to create 5 projects (totaling 9 pages)!
3. Once you’ve created your layout(s) from the NSD 2024 Project Booklet or layout(s) inspired by the new sketch challenges, you’ll want to snap a photo of your finished project(s) and share it in a new post in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group by Tuesday, May 7, at 11:59pm CT (Australia: 8 May at 2:59pm AET) with the hashtag #WildForNSD for the chance to win a prize. We’ll have 5 lucky winners total!
   • Don’t have the NSD Customer Bundle to scrapbook with? Don’t worry! You can still be eligible to win one of the 5 prizes by taking on the new sketch challenges with product you have on-hand — like the Birds & Blossoms example layouts below — or by sharing other NSD 2024 projects you’ve made, sharing photos with us of who you’re spending NSD with, where you’re scrapbooking from, your scrapbook area, group photos if you’re at an event, etc.! You’ll want to use the hashtag #WildForNSD for all posts!
   • Winners will be announced in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group on Thursday, May 9, at noon CT.
4. Watch for pop-up GIVEAWAYS in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group!
5. Watch for friendly faces from Home Office popping in to say “hello” in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group!

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to 5 winners. We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, you need to have done ONE (1) of the following by Tuesday, May 7, at 11:59pm CT: A) Created a project following the NSD Project Booklet using the NSD 2024 Customer Bundle, B) Used the sketches provided as inspiration to create a project using the NSD 2024 Customer Bundle or any Creative Memories products*, C) Created a project of your own using the NSD 2024 collection or D) Shared photo(s) of how you’re spending NSD (picture of your scrapbook area, selfie working on a layout, event picture, etc.). *Predominantly Creative Memories products must be used on projects to be eligible to win. Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, May 9, at noon CT.
