A Layout to Show Off Your Summer

Make your warm-weather memories a splash with this summer scrapbook layout! Using materials from the Summer Break collection, this layout is ideal for photos of swimming at the pool, playdates on sunny days and lounging at the beach. Keep reading to see how you can recreate this layout.

To create this layout you will need:

Take a closer look at the Summer Break collection with Noreen!

Step 1: Use a sheet of sunshine paper as the base for this layout. Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut a sheet of waves paper to 10? x 8? and adhere to the base, 1? from the top.

Step 2: Using the Personal Trimmer, crop two photos to 4-1/2? x 3? and one to 4-1/2? x 4?. Cut the sunshine variety mat to 4-1/2? x 4?. Adhere to the waves piece as shown.

Step 3: Using the wavy edge of the 12-inch Decorative Trimmer, cut a 12? x 3? strip with cool tonal colorblock paper. Cut a 12? x 2-1/4? strip with strokes paper and adhere on top. Cut a 12? x 1-1/8? strip with warm tonal colorblock paper and mount it on top. Adhere a flip-flops border sticker on top. Cut 1? off of each side of the border to make it 10? wide. Adhere 1” from the bottom of the layout.

Step 4: Cut nine 1-1/8? x 1-1/8? pieces with a variety of paper scraps. Using Micro-Tip Scissors, cut a ‘V’ from one edge of each to create a banner. Apply Repositionable Tape and tuck underneath the border, as shown.

Step 5: Cut a duo variety mat in half and adhere the “Today was:” half to the page. Adhere stickers and embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for dimension.

Step 6: Journal as desired.
