Jenny Newling started scrapbooking with CM in 2004 in a small regional town in Western Australia. After a couple of classes with the “strip and triangle” method, she was hooked. She became an Advisor in Brisbane and now enjoys scrapping with her friends at workshops and retreats.

Jenny’s Tip: “To add further texture to the net, I used the Black Dual-Tip Pen. I added some pen ink to a piece of plastic wrap and then sprayed it with some water. I then dipped my net in the ink to give it a used look.”

Collection Used: Coastal Shore

Rhonda Featherston has loved scrapbooking for many years and decided to join as an Advisor in 2017. She didn’t know anyone, but soon joined a team and now has six lovely ladies on her team. Rhonda enjoys creating pages of her overseas travels, her family, friends and beautiful grandchildren.

Rhonda’s Tip: “I love the new Wonderful Day collection. I used the new Square Link Chain BMC and layered CM papers with Hot Fudge Cardstock. Using Foam Squares with some embellishments will add dimension to your layout. Have fun coordinating your photos with beautiful CM papers and stickers.”

Collection Used: Wonderful Day

”Konichiwa, I’m Junko. I live with my husband and my son, who loves fishing, in Iwate Prefecture, a prefecture with rich Japanese nature. We have moved many times due to my husband’s work, but thanks to the Creative Memories Advisor community, I have met wonderful people and am healed by making connections with them. Thanks to CM’s excellent products, a clumsy person like me can make great album pages very easily. I love CM’s stylish collections and I can’t wait to sell them each month. I hope to continue making albums with you all that bring a smile to my face.“ —Junko Kato

“Hi, I’m Yumi. I live in Aichi Prefecture, almost in the middle of Japan, with my two children and husband. When I came across CM’s albums, I was attracted by how cute and easy they were to make, and I immediately became an Advisor and started making albums. For me, making albums is overall fun! I can leave behind memories with my family in a wonderful way, and I also enjoy the time making the album. I also love that I can make them while chatting with my friends. There’s a cute new collection every month. I am also very happy when everyone gets excited when they see the new collections. I hope to continue to enjoy making albums with many people in the future.” —Yumi Sakakigara

From cutting around images with scissors in 1996 to preserving memories with cutting-edge tools, Lynda Gorrie has come a long way! This mom of three, grandma of four, is guaranteed to always have plenty of photos and inspiration for her next layout.

Created by Lynda Gorrie – Creative Memories AdvisorCanada

Lynda’s Tip: “Even though there are only two background pieces, cut those first and lay them on your page. After looking through the stickers and mat pack I decided that with the change of a journal box I could make my plaid flag piece shorter as well as make my left mat larger. Don’t be afraid to cut pieces out of your mats for embellishments.”

Collection Used: Croptoberfest 2024

Ali MacDonald has been a scrapbooker since 2002 and became an Advisor in 2019. Playing with paper and telling stories are her two favourite things — they energize her! She loves the sensory treat that scrapbooking’s colour and texture bring, and documenting her big family’s life through photos and stories warms her heart.

Ali’s Tip: “I like to use different fonts when journaling in my scrapbooks. The one I used on my page is Baguet Script, a font included in my MS Word package. Dafont.com is a fantastic source of free fonts! When I use a computer font to journal, I sign the reverse of the page with my name, the date, a heart and “Love, Mom.” I write this on a special tag and secure it to the back of my page. I made this tag with the Damask Flourish Frame Punch.

Ashley Roesch lives in North Carolina with her husband and two active girls. When she isn’t scrapbooking or managing the busy family schedule, you can usually find her planning some sort of elaborate trip around the world.

Created by Ashley Roesch – Creative Memories AdvisorUnited States

Ashley’s Tip: “I love to get as many uses out of my tools as possible, which means I’m always looking for unique ways to make my punches more versatile. I believe that the Picket Fence BMC (yes, the cartridge that comes with the Original Border Maker System) is the most versatile and perhaps most overlooked punch in our line! When seeking versatility, don’t be afraid to make a few minor adjustments. For this layout, I cut the top part of the fence off in order to create spines for my little half hedgehogs tucked under the photos. I also created some separation between the pickets so that the straight border would bend more easily around my circles.”

Collection Used: Denim Revival

“I’m a wife, a stay-at-home mom and part-time homeschool teacher for other parent’s kiddos! Because I only work three half days a week, I get to spend lots of time scrapping my family’s memories.” —Leslie Hunter

Created by Leslie Hunter – Creative Memories AdvisorUnited States

Leslie’s Tips: “Using a variety of papers is a great way to add texture to your layout. The punched flowers, for example, are layered together with shimmer paper and vellum.

Collection Used: Something Blue
