Celebrate the Fourth with A Layout as Bright as a Firework

Show off your star-spangled spirit with this eye-catching Fourth of July scrapbook layout! Designed with festive layers, bold colors and standout embellishments from the All-American Blast collection, this page puts the spotlight on your Independence Day memories — and that stunning firework die cut! With its striking red, white and blue palette and dimensional accents, this layout is the perfect way to preserve parades, barbecues and fireworks with friends and family.

To create this layout you will need:

Layout by Brenda Rose – CM Design Team

Step 1: Use the stripes designer paper as the base of the page.

Step 2: Cut a piece of the fireworks designer paper to measure 12? x 4?. Adhere to the base 1? from the top.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Bright White Cardstock to 11? x 11?. Adhere to the base 1/2? from all edges. If desired, draw a doodling line around inside edges of Bright White piece. Draw three black dots at the top left and bottom right of the page on the doodling line.

Step 4: Cut a red and white stripe piece from the border paper. Adhere 1? from the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Cut a piece plaid designer paper to 12? x 2-1/2?. Adhere directly above the red and white striped border.

Step 6: Cut a white star piece from the border paper. Adhere 1-3/4? from the bottom.

Step 7: Place the large firework embellishment 1” from the top and 3/4? from the left edge.

Step 8: Cut two 6-1/4? x 4-1/4? pieces of Cranberry Cardstock and two 6-1/2? x 4-1/2? pieces of Blue cardstock. Layer the Cranberry on top of the Blue. Place the lower photo mat 1-1/4? from the bottom and 1? from the right edge. Follow with upper photo mat, leaving 1/8? between photos.

Step 9: Place the “Proud to be an American” sticker in the center of the large firework popped up with Foam Squares, at about 3-1/3? from the top and 1-1/4? from the left edge and overlapping the photo slightly. Tuck the flag heart sticker above the word “to.”

Step 10: Cut two pieces of Bright White Cardstock at 4? x 1/4? for journaling strips, and adhere at the left edge of the bottom photo about 2-1/2? from the bottom. Place the “Fireworks & Freedom” sticker above the journaling strips.

Step 11: Place the “Independence Never Looked So Groovy” sticker popped up on Foam Squares at the bottom right of the lower photo. Add the red cup and flower sticker as shown. Finish with red and blue star stickers.

Whether you’re scrapbooking backyard BBQs or city-center celebrations, this layout delivers all the festive flair you need. The oversized embellishment brings big energy to the page, while layered papers and patriotic stickers tie everything together. Ready to create your own firework-worthy spread?
