Capturing the “Oh Boy!” Moments with Bundle of Joy

The Bundle of Joy collection is the perfect way to celebrate all those “oh boy” moments, from first smiles to busy nursery days. With its fresh, modern feel and soft, neutral baby vibe, these light colors make it so easy to let your favorite photos really shine. This layout uses those blues and greens to tell his story in a clean and simple way.

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use the dots designer paper as the base for this layout. Splatter Rich Cocoa ink on the top left and bottom right of the page.   

TIP:  If desired, add Rich Cocoa ink to the edge of the remaining pieces on the page. This adds depth and interest to your layout. 

Step 2: Cut (1) 4″ x 12″ piece of the stars designer paper. Adhere this piece 1-1/2″ from the left edge. Cut (1) 1″ x 12″ piece of the dark wood designer paper. Place this piece directly to the right of the stars designer paper. Finish this section by placing a wooden knobs border sticker where the papers meet. 

Step 3: Next, cut (1) 6″ x 8″ piece of the beige plaid designer paper. Adhere this piece 2″ from the left edge and bottom of the page. 

Step 4: Cut (1) 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and (2) 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ pieces of the paper texture designer paper. Crop and add photos to these photo mats. First, adhere the smallest mat 2″ from the top and 2-3/4″ from the right edge of the page. Place a larger mat 1/8″ below and align it with the left side of the upper mat. The final mat is 2-1/2″ from the left side and 2-3/4″ from the bottom of the page. 

TIP:  If you add thin foam squares to the final mat, it makes that photo the focal point of the page. 

Step 5: Cut the Cuteness Overload Mat card in half. Tuck the green side under the top two mats. Tuck the other side on the right side of the photos as a journaling block. 

Step 6:  Finish the layout by adding stickers using thin foam squares as desired.
