In this post, you will find ALL four sketches for this crop (these sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the four sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To make sure we see all your submissions for a chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, February 17, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 18 February, 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). Challenge #1 — #CMVirtualCrop1February2026

Challenge #2 — #CMVirtualCrop2February2026

Challenge #3 — #CMVirtualCrop3February2026

Challenge #4 — #CMVirtualCrop4February2026

Challenge #1

Collection Used: Your Own Way (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Emily’s Tip: The Your Own Way collection is perfect for documenting milestones throughout the year, but it works beautifully for holidays, too! I created this layout to highlight a unique yet subtle patchwork tulip design. It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, but honestly could be used for many different themes.
To create these adorable tulips, start by cutting a 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ square. Cut the square diagonally to make two triangles, then cut each triangle in half to create four smaller triangles. Next, use your Circle Cutter, circle punch or CCS to create 1.25″ circles, cut them in half, and layer them on top to form the “heart” shape of the tulip.”
Challenge #2

Collection Used: Winter Bliss (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Emily’s Tip: “The Global Getaway collection makes me want to book a European vacation! I love the soft color palette and travel-themed stickers. On this layout, I used the Vintage Post BMC to create a chevron-style design along the edges for added interest.
Here’s a helpful tip: After punching your first edge, trim to size and place it back in the border maker tray, attaching sticky notes to it to add enough width to be held in place to punch the other side.”
Challenge #4

Collection Used: Your Own Way (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Emily’s Tip: “The Natural Beginnings collection works for so many occasions such as weddings, family holidays, baby photos and more. The Sunrise Scallop Border Maker Cartridge is my favorite BMC released so far this year! I used it layered behind the frames so the scallops peek out for a soft decorative detail. You could also use a frame border punch to achieve a similar effect.
Be sure to check out the Kickoff Video for a tutorial on how to place the scallop border inside the frame for that adorable peek-a-boo effect!”
Challenge #3

Collection Used: On The Bright Side (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Emily’s Tip: “On the Bright Side is my ultimate favorite CM collection… ever! I love the cheerful papers and adorable embellishments. For this layout, I wanted to show a different way to use your Border Maker Cartridge by punching the design in a circle. It’s a fun technique to try, and the wave pattern creates a beautiful design that’s also forgiving if your spacing isn’t perfect.
To create the triangle background pieces, you can cut a 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″ paper diagonally twice, and use the reverse side for two of the triangles. Or, use two sheets with your preferred pattern pairings, and save the left overs for another project.”

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock or expected to return). The digital prize pack being awarded to one participant within all four challenges combined.
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be obvious you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project. You’re highly encouraged to use Creative Memories products, but it’s not a requirement to win. You have until Tuesday, February 17, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 18 February, 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Feb. 19, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 20 Feb.).

Sketch Challenge #2 sample layout uses the Global Getaway Collection as Emily’s tip references. However, the description under the inspired layout and the hyperlink incorrectly identifies the supplies used as coming from the Winter Bliss collection. You can visit the CM website to see each of the versatile collections as well as CM’s issuu page.
Emily these are wonderful layouts! Thank you for sharing so many new tips and techniques with us.
